International mobility is a powerful learning opportunity, but for students with disabilities it is often difficult to access due to the absence of a dedicated professional figure to coordinate the process.
MOV-it! provides practical tools, procedures, and professional guidance to all actors involved in the mobility process. by

Our solutions
Challenge #1
Low awareness of international mobility opportunities for VET students with disabilities: students, families and schools may not consider mobility as a realistic option because they lack examples, guidance and confidence.
Solution #1
Collection and sharing of practices, success stories and experiences: the project will gather examples from different countries and use them to show that international mobility can be possible, safe and beneficial.
Lack of clear and accessible information: students, families, sending schools and hosting organisations often do not know what information, documents, support measures and safety arrangements are needed before, during and after mobility.
Procedures to foster international mobility for students with disabilities: the project will produce practical guidance for students, families, sending organisations, host organisations and SMEs, covering preparation, travel, stay abroad, work/study placement and return.
Limited capacity of staff and host organisations to understand and respond to specific needs: schools, SMEs and mobility providers may lack the skills or confidence to assess needs, plan support and reduce risks.
Profile of the Mobility Advisor for VET students with disabilities: the project will define the role, tasks, skills and responsibilities of a professional able to guide students and families, support sending and receiving organisations, and make the mobility process more inclusive and accessible.
